About me
I'm an IT student based in Belgium with a strong interest in software development, Linux, networking, privacy, and self-hosting. I enjoy learning by building real projects and experimenting with technologies outside of the classroom, from developing web applications to running and managing my own Linux servers. I've worked with technologies including React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Docker, Linux, PostgreSQL, and networking tools such as Tailscale and WireGuard. I'm particularly interested in privacy-focused and decentralized software, and I enjoy taking an idea from a concept to something that actually works.
Projects
CalcX — An encrypted AES-256 peer-to-peer messaging application featuring real-time chat, file sharing, voice communication, screen sharing, and media support, built with React and TypeScript.
CloudGrab / Convertify — A web-based media downloading and conversion platform built with React and Node.js, hosted on my own infrastructure with PM2 and PostgreSQL.
Personal Media Server — A self-hosted Raspberry Pi media environment running Jellyfin and Navidrome, used for managing and streaming my personal collection of movies, series, and high-resolution music.
Self-Hosted Infrastructure — A collection of services and tools I run and maintain myself, including Docker applications, Linux servers, PostgreSQL databases, Ollama, Open WebUI, Traccar, and various custom web applications.
Private Networking — Personal networking setups using Tailscale, ZeroTier, WireGuard, and NetBird to securely connect devices and access self-hosted applications remotely without exposing services directly to the public internet.
Music Management Tools — Personal projects and experiments focused on managing a high-resolution music library, including metadata editing, album artwork, lyrics integration, and web-based management tools for Navidrome.
